Senior Art Director & Theme Park Designer with 19 years of experience in France and international (Belgium, China, Dubai, Turkey, etc.) in the amusement and leisure park industry.

I worked at Art & Design and Alterface for over 10 years in a graphic studio and architect/engineering office as a creative designer. Teamwork, creativity, designs and adaptation to customer needs. (Amusement parks design, attractions, Masterplan, Design Package, 3D vizualisation …).

My freelance status has allowed me to travel and constantly adapt to each Entertainment business (FEC Thematization, Rollercoaster, Waves Machine, Hotel Resort, Karting, Mini-Golf, Museum in China, Theme creation Park 30 Hectares in Miami…).

Theme Park Designer & Art Director at Studios Lange in Grasse (06) FRANCE

Design services : illustration, concept-art (POV), CAD plan (Autocad, Vectorworks), attraction design, master planning, bubble diagram, list of Attraction, 3D visualization of projects, story lines. Graphic Design PRINT/WEB: visual Identity, logo, guidelines, branding, mascot, motion design, multimedia, social media, packaging, comic book. Responsabilities: • Design the layout of "Interactive Dark Rides and Theaters", taking into account the elements that are likely to be the Story-lines, Gameplay, User Experience. Budgets, technical constraints. • Find new ideas for rides, or new scripts and designs for existing or new attractions. • Participate in meetings to discuss client needs and come up with new ideas • Designing new attractions is a process that goes through many different stages and by many people with different skills before it is finalized. • The design goes through discussions with the technical service (engineering), to understand the physics and operation of a merry-go-round. Responsabilities: • Design the layout of a new park, taking into account the elements that are likely to be the most popular, and trying to ensure that the flow of visitors moves easily between them. • Find new ideas for rides, or new scripts and ideas for existing attractions. • Participate in meetings to discuss client needs and come up with new ideas • Designing new attractions is a process that goes through many different stages and by many people with different skills before it is finalized. • The design goes through discussions with the technical service (engineering), to understand the physics and operation of a merry-go-round. Skills: • Iconographic research, technical, historical and cultural documentation. • Have a global vision of the project, client needs and design style, art direction. • Design and illustration skills through sketches to prepare these ideas before creating the final look of the process. • Be original and creative because visitors always want something new, whether it's always faster or the highest, or with new, more impressive technologies.
